Important points about what Devlops is: Change, continuous, collaborative, multidisciplinary/multistage

Jez Humble is one of the God Fathers of DevOps, having written several books relating to the topic including The DevOps Handbook, Continuous Delivery, Accelerate and more. He is a thought leader in the space, helping shape the conversation on what DevOps is and how it relates to digital transformation.

Jez frequently talks about several recurrent points when he talks about DevOps. He discusses elements of continuous change, collaboration and multidisciplinary activities and alignment. Here he also discusses resilient systems, the idea that systems need to be designed to fail gracefully and recover from failure. Let's see how that lines up with other practitioners opinions.
